Workshop on Preparing International Accreditation Forms

In order to meet the need for quality international class education, the Semarang State Polytechnic (POLINES) is holding a Workshop on Preparing Forms for International Accreditation of Study Programs (Prodi) at the Semarang State Polytechnic. 

The workshop which was held on Saturday, November 25 2023 at The Wujil, Unggaran was attended by Leaders, Heads of Departments, Heads of Study Programs, UPA ICT, and UPA Libraries.

The speakers / resource persons present to present the workshop material are:

1. Prof. Dr. Harjum Muharam, S.E., M.E., CWM, from FEB UNDIP, explained INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION: THE ROADMAP
2. Reggie Surya, Ph.D. explains the International Accreditation Overview:HEEACT
3. Ir. Berlian Kushari, S.T., M.Eng., IPM, ASEAN Eng. from related to the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE), explaining regarding International-level accreditation for engineering and computing study programs in Indonesia
4.  From FEB UNDIP, explaining the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) Practice

 By attending this workshop, it is hoped that each Study Program will be able to prepare an International Accreditation Form, so that it becomes eligible for the International Accreditation process. 

POLINES has a target of 2 (two) Internationally Accredited Study Programs, where currently POLINES already has 1 (one) Internationally Accredited Study Program, namely the Computerized Accounting Study Program.

Furthermore, management is targeting other study programs to immediately prepare and propose International Accreditation. One of the study programs that is the next target for International Accreditation is the International Business Management Study Program.

On the other hand, the Information and Communication Technology Academic Support Unit (UPA ICT), which is a Supporting Unit, is also required to play an active role in the successful achievement of International Accreditation for each Study Program at POLINES.
